Characters: Gym Leaders
Claus: The Steelworker of Steam
So out of all the Gym Leaders Claus has the most focus, mainly due to his relation to Cid and Celes. The basic idea for his character came from a manga (the name of which I can't remember), where there was a character who rode around on a bike who controlled machines.
Goemon: The Scatter-brained Ninja
So the basic idea for his character came from Naruto, and the idea of Ninja Police just being kind of awesome.
Maude: The Underground Girl
Honestly aside from the reference with her name there's not much to the background of her character.
Shimakaze: The Battleship Girl
I honestly wanted to make a bratty Gym Leader and that was the origin of Shimakaze.
Cheza: The Flower the Blooms in Darkness.
When I look back on the franchise all the Grass Type Gym Leaders have some form of nurturing nature of some form or another or are portrayed in a fragile or nurturing way, which is kind of ironic considering how many sadistic possibilities exist with the Grass Type. So from there I just had the basic idea of making a kind of sadistic Gym Leader.
Shinku: The Girl with no Voice
So all of the Psychic type Gym Leaders have some oddities to them and with the only Double Battle Gym being a Psychic Type I decided to make her a bit of an homage to Tate and Liza from Gen 3 (and this was before the Gen 3 remakes were announced).
Cloe: The Poisonous Girl
Cloe's kind of like Goemon and that she has a very basic concept behind her someone who naturally has Poison on her skin and because of that she's close to Poison Types.
Marco: The man who Burns with Passion
Marco was pretty simple, I wanted to make a kind of flirtatious character so I figured the Fire Type Gym Leader was perfect for that kind of character

Well it's almost November so it's time to bring this year to a close, with this there won't be an uploads until 2017. So with that said Digimon R2 will be put on hiatus while everything else has reached it's conclusion (except for the mini-series).

The wait is over!!
For those of you waiting the wait is over Labyrinthine, Zodiac Wars, Fairy Fencer, and Extra Hero are back with their new volumes.
