Ch. 60: City Assault pt.3

 

In the middle of the city as Norman and the others stave off the decreasing horde of Garurumon, Seva holds out her Digivice facing ShadowWereGarurumon alongside Flammamon holding out her Digivice as it glows brightly.

            "Let's go Flammamon, Digivolve!" She yells out holding up her Digivice.

As she holds up her Digivice Flammamon is overcome by a large cluster of data, and as it fades Ignismon stands around before posing in front of Seva.

            "Yes, I was able to Digivolve again." Ignismon says excitedly. "But wait how'd that work?"

            "Well you can thank this large crowd for that." Seva says holding out her Digivice. "Apparently all this fighting helped the Digivice return to its old level and now we can crush these fools."

            "Oh so all the constant battles have helped." Ignismon says with a grin. "Okay then let's crush this stupid dog."

ShadowWereGarurumon charges ahead towards Ignismon as it jumps into the air avoiding the attack.

            "Fire Blast!" A large fire ball forms between Ignismon's tails before shooting it off at ShadowWereGarurumon knocking it back into a building. "Now for the follow up, Flame Claw!"

Ignismon charges ahead before ShadowWereGarurumon comes rushing towards it out of the building before jumping into the air and charging towards it attempting to kick it.

            "Tough luck with that." It says jokingly jumping back from the impact zone as it lands creating a dust cloud.

Suddenly ShadowWereGarurumon charges out of the dust cloud clawing at Ignismon and forcing it into a building.

            "Well looks like doggy's fast." It says recovering from the blow. "This could be a problem."

As Seva watches the ongoing battle watching as ShadowWereGarurumon continues charging ahead at Ignismon as it tries to avoid it's onslaught of attacks.

            "Damn, this is a pain." Seva says annoyed. "If there was a way to slow that damn thing down."

Seva looks around and notices Norman and the others fighting the Garurumon and then takes special attention to Drosemon before rushing up towards it and Nat.

            "Hey idiot."

            "Stop calling me an idiot!" Nat says annoyed.

            "Okay then fool then help me out right quick."

            "Why should I? I'm only fighting to protect myself and Drosemon why should I help you?"

            "Because if you don't then that stupid werewolf thing's gonna eat you and your little plant baby up."

Nat looks on at ShadowWereGarurumon before shaking about at the thought.

            "Okay then fine, I'll help you out what am I supposed to do?"

 

A minute later Ignismon stands around as ShadowWereGarurumon jumps around attacking it ricocheting around the buildings and slashing at Ignismon with each passing.

            "Stupid thing stand still you idiot." Ignismon says annoyed trying to defend itself from the attacks. "If you'd stop moving around then I could absolutely destroy you."

As Ignismon stands around Drosemon rushes along terrified before jumping into an attack by ShadowWereGarurumon taking the brunt of the attack and stopping it.

            "Crunch!" Drosemon's flower swings around chomping into ShadowWereGarurumon as it attempts to shake it off. "Now, Honey Trap!"

Drosemon unleashes a large blast into ShadowWereGarurumon's face before it starts acting sluggishly before it's flower unclenches before Drosemon runs off panicking.

            "Please please don't chase after me." Drosemon says before falling over.

As Drosemon gets itself up ShadowWereGarurumon stands over it posed to attack before Ignismon charges ahead towards it.

            "Flame Claw!"

Ignismon impales ShadowWereGarurumon with its flaming claws as the Digimon starts falling over before dissolving into data as Ignismon starts reverting into Bakemon.

            "Thanks for that kiddy." Bakemon says jokingly before winking at Drosemon. "You know if you don't shape up then you're going to get yourself killed eventually. I mean seriously turning your back to an enemy is almost a death wish."

            "Hey don't say stuff like this." Drosemon says picking itself up and still panicking. "I don't wanna die."

            "Bakemon don't tease her, with a Tamer like this idiot how else would she turn out." Seva says jokingly pointing to Nat. "So don't beat on her too much."

            "Fine, but she's gonna have to help us in our fight and I don't want such a weakling watching my back." Bakemon says glaring at Drosemon. "So shape up ya idiot!"

            "What did I do?" Drosemon says scared.

As the last of the Garurumon is destroyed Aethamon flies around before reverting into Chiromon before landing on Norman.

            "So then that's the last of that." Norman says seriously.

            "Yeah we won the day." Gabby says excitedly. "And on one got hurt to."

            "Wait a second, no one got hurt so they were all farmed out of here." Seva says thinking about things. "What the hell, then...."

As Seva thinks about things helicopters and series of cars starts surrounding the group and blocking them off.

            "Well that's just what I expected." Seva says annoyed.

 

Meanwhile from the rooftops Rae looks down with a large gin on her face alongside Silvemon as both laugh at the group.

            "So was that the plan?" Silvemon asks jokingly.

            "Part of it." Rae says excitedly. "I knew they'd come out if I sent someone out to attack them, after all they're to goody goody."

            "So then what now?"

            "We're going to lay low for a bit, send out some minor forces here and there but we're just holding back for now until we make our final blow." Rae says with a large grin on her face. "Soon we're going to offer up this world to Lord Millenniummon and then he'll destroy it all and burn it to the ground."
