Ch. 59: City Assault pt.2

A year ago inside of his apartment Nat stands around holding onto the egg before placing it down on a table before starting to walk off into the kitchen.

            "Alright, let's get around and make ourselves an awesome omelet." Nat walks out of the kitchen holding onto a large pan and a knife before walking over to the table and finding the egg cracked open. "Wait, what happened? Did the thing hatch?"

Nat scrambles around the room looking for anything out of place before finding a figure cowering in the corner trying to hide away from him.

            "Hey what're you?" He asks curiously approaching the figure.

He reaches out at the figure as it jumps out at him, knocking him down before rushing away into another corner. As he gets back up he notices an odd device in his hand as he looks into the corner and finds the figure cowering around.

            "You stupid thing, what the hell are you doing?" He asks annoyed.

As he looks on he finds a small pink spherical figure with a small weed out of its head and various roots coming out of it as the figure cowers into the corner with Nat walking over to it slowly before reaching out the device as it starts to glow.

            "Muscmon, Baby Level, Data Type." He says as the device glows scanning the Digimon. "Okay what is this?"

Muscmon slowly crawls out of the corner before slowly approaching Nat.

            "Okay, I don't know what you are or where you came from, but I do have to admit your kind of cute so maybe I should keep you." Nat picks up Muscmon looking at it with a large grin on his face before laughing happily. "With something this cute I'll defiantly be being home the babes."

In the middle of the city Nat stands around alongside Drosemon as they both cower around at the sight of the Garurumon.

            "Someone please explain what's going on?!" Nat asks trying to wrap his head around the situation. "Damn it Drosemon, please explain what's going on?"

            "I already told you." Drosemon says panicking. "How am I supposed to know."

As they stand about a Garurumon charges out at them before Drosemon's flower unleashes a large blast with a sweet scent filling up the area distracting the Digimon.

            "Wait you can do that?" Nat asks curiously.

            "I don't know, I don't know anything anymore."

As the Garurumon stand about distracted the others attack them destroying them before the scent begins to fade and the Garurumon's hostility returns.

            "Damn it, whatever you did please it again." Nat says panicking.

            "I don't know what I did."

            "Come on, please!"

            "Stop, yelling at her!" Norman says walking up to the pair as Aethamon flies around behind him. "If your stressed out there's no way your partner's going to be able to focus, the two of you need to be in sync but not in that way."

            "Hey shut up kid what do you know?"

Norman snaps his fingers as Aethamon lands next to him snarling at Nat as he backs up and hides behind Drosemon.

            "So will you listen now?"

Nat nods nervously before Norman looks down at him with the Garurumon encircling them.

            "Hey Seva you got the big ugly?" Norman asks annoyed as Seva nods happily. "Good. Hey idiot, keep your focus and tell your partner to use its attacks and we'll handle the rest."

            "Hey I'm not an idiot."

            "Shut up and do it!"

Nat backs up nervously before looking at Drosemon and trying to remain calm.

            "Okay then, do what that kid said."

            "I'll try." Drosemon says trying to concentrate. "Honey Trap!"

Drosemon unleashes a large blast from the flower on its head as a sweet scent starts encompassing the area distracting the Garurumon.

            "Good thing I remember my old fights." Norman says with a grin. "Okay Aethamon, show them what we can do!"

Aethamon charges into the crowd as Gabby and Yamakamon jump onto it's back and attack them as well.

Meanwhile Seva jumps of Flammamon's back as ShadowWereGarurumon roars out at her before she holds out her Digivice with a large grin on her face.

            "Okay then Flammamon, let's do this." Seva's Digivice glows brightly before she holds it up in the air. "Let's go Flammamon, Digivolve!"
