Ch.52: Operation Infiltration

In the middle of the forest Talulla and Able sit underneath a large tree waiting for any sign of movement. Teddymon comes out from a large set of bushes waving out towards the pair with Tanukimon directing them further into the forest down a hidden pathway. Able leads the way peeking through a thick brush and finding a series of Gizumon-XT. The Gizumon stand blankly and nearly motionless scanning the area for anything or anyone that may breach their range, readying their lasers to retaliate almost immediately.

            “Okay we have four Gizumon-XT units standing around but I don’t see any sign of a portal or whatever.” Able looks out at the Gizumon nervously, watching closely for any sign of the entryway they supposedly guard.

            “You still have the eyes of a novice my dear friend, they’re defiantly guarding something and it’s sitting in between the four of them.” Tanukimon says seriously.

            “Wait I don’t see anything.”

            “You truly have the eyes of a novice.” Talulla looks out at the area with a pair of binoculars staring at the site.

            “Wait, that’s no fair you have binoculars. Where did you get those anyway?”

            “I asked Teddymon to hold them for me.” She hands the binoculars to Able with a smug grin on her face. “I honestly don’t need them, but for a novice like you they’re the best tool.”

            “No I can do it without help.” Able says annoyed as he turns back towards the area.

Looking on trying to see what he missed before, Able notices an odd rectangular device sitting on the ground in the middle of the square made of Gizumon. Able points towards the spot where the device sits and Tanukimon and Talulla looks towards him with mischievous grins.

            “Anyway, we’ve found the entry point it’s about time we contacted the others.” Talulla says pulling out her Digivice.

Suddenly Terry appears in a small flash of light in front of the device scratching her head in annoyance. “Damn it, I don’t feel stronger, so what the hell did Ian do to me this time?”

Terry stares up at the Gizumon around her and in her frustration punches one of their legs causing it to fall to pieces as she looks at the wreckage curiously. She grins somewhat happily as she marches off leaving the area and waving her hand towards the spot as another Gizumon-XT comes down from above to the spot where the Gizumon once stood.

            “It’s such a good thing these things can be easily replaced, now let’s go find some Digimon to use as test subjects for this new power.” She says excitedly. “I can’t wait, today is going to be the best!”

            “Are you sure about that?” Raine asks appearing out of the treeline with Odonamon flying in front of her. “Maybe today’s the day you fall flat on your face.”

            “Gizumon, all of you stand at attention, don’t move.” She says ordering the Gizumon before turning towards Raine. “Oh today’s just great, because I’m going to make you eat your words and then put you into the ground.” Terry says excitedly. “Now come here!”

            “I am!” Varanomon yells out slamming into Terry knocking her back.

            “Don’t you mean we are.” Orla says happily.

            “Oh today is the best day ever!” Terry yells out excitedly. “Now come over here and meet your deaths.”

            “No you come here and get your ass kicked.” Raine says seriously. “But if you’re a coward.”

            “A coward!” Terry charges ahead towards Raine as Odonamon blocks the path knocking her back. “Oh I’m going to enjoy ripping you to pieces!”

            “Well you have to catch is first.” Raine says jokingly running into the forest followed by Odonamon.

            “Come on honey, let’s see if you can keep up.” Orla says chasing after her followed by Varanomon.

            “Damn it, I’m taking both of you fools out!” Terry yells out chasing after the pair.

Talulla and Able walk out of the bushes with Talulla and Teddymon walking up to the Gizumon curiously. “Seems like the plan worked out better than we expected.”

            “We got lucky she was coming out of their base, but let’s not push our luck.” Tanukimon says nervously.

Suddenly Merry appears, walking out of the device with a large grin on her face walking towards the two. “Oh my? It appears that Terry might’ve missed some little rats.”

            “Hey my Teddymon isn’t a rat!” Talulla yells out insulted.

            “It doesn’t matter; we’re going to start eliminating you now. Gizumon, if you would.” The Gizumon start turning focusing on the group. “Now ready, and fi…..”

Suddenly a blast of energy shoots out pasts Merry nearly hitting her, with Strigimon flying high over head looking down on her. Lupusmon rushes out of the forest smashing into the Gizumon-XT and knocking into one of them.

            “You two get in there; we’ll be right after you!” Jager yells leaping out of the forest.

            “You heard the guy, let’s go!” Talulla says grabbing Able. “Teddymon, come on!”

In a flash BioQuetzalmon floats over them chasing after the group before Sophiormon charges in smashing into its side. As the Gizumon-XT take their aim at Sophiormon, suddenly XenoLycanimon rushes in slamming into the Gizumon-XT and knocking them over.

            “Okay, we’ll go ahead and see you guys when you get to the other side.” Talulla says as she reaches the device.

In a flash Talulla, Able, Teddymon, and Tanukimon disappear as BioQuetzalmon floats over the device looking down on as Sophiormon and XenoLycanimon. “You idiots! As soon as I finish killing the lot of you then I will go back to the lab and thrash your stupid friends.”

            “You think so?” Jager asks curiously. “I bet we can beat you before they can start smashing up everything, but you might stall us slightly.”

Walter comes out of the forest holding his hands behind his head looking up at BioQuetzalmon. “Yeah we can easily kick her butt, let’s do this so we can go save the day.”

            “You fools, do you think I am so weak!” BioQuetzalmon flies into the air as a number of Gizumon-XT fly down joining her. “We’ve sent our Gizumon all over this world, and soon we will win this fight. It’s only a matter of time after I destroy all of you!”
