Ch. 16: Data Cache

In a storehouse Jacob sits around in a corner as Marin messes with a box extracted from the Guardromon.

            "So then did you find anything yet?"

            "Not yet, I managed to get past the firewall and extract this black box but I still have to deal with encoding and stuff." Marin says typing away. "But we should be almost done right Bytemon."

            "Yes Mistress, I've almost completed my task." Bytemon says within the Digivice. "But there is some odd data in here."

            "Don't worry about it just finish the job and we'll worry about that later."

As the pair work the box starts lighting up brightly.

            "Yes we did it." Marin says excitedly. "Now we can analyze the data."

            "So what can we do with this?" Jacob asks curiously.

            "Well we'll be able to analyze it and maybe get some clues to reunite with the others and then get back to fighting Millenniummon." Marin says seriously as she connects the box to a larger monitor. "We're all separated from each other and if these Digimon can cross dimensions then we should be able do something similar."

As Marin finishes the connecting the monitor lights up brightly showing images.

            "What is this?" Jacob asks curiously.

            "It's showing a video, it must be a recording that the Guardromon recorded."

As the duo looks on they see an image of ZeedMillennoummon with a ball of data as various Digimon emerge from the ball and float around it before some start flowing into small holes. As this happens the image disappears surrounded by a bright light, before long the image returns of dozens of Guardromon standing around in single file.

            "What's this?" Jacob asks concerned. "There are so many of them."

            "Their way to organized for this to be a coincidence."

            " So Millenniummon's latest shipment has arrived." A voice says on the video. "Well we can cause some mayhem with these, but we need something a bit more powerful."

            "Well Master Lord Millenniummon not only has us but two others who need some forces to take care of that worlds resistance." Another voice says on the video. "But I imagine that these worlds will be destroyed soon."

            "Well it doesn't matter as long as we can wipe out this world."

As the pair look on the video fades away as more and more static emerges before flooding the screen.

            "What's going on?" Marin asks concerned.

            "It seems like someone's working alongside Millenniummon." Jacob says seriously. "We've got to do what we can to track them down."

            "Mistress!" Bytemon screams from inside the Digivice.

            "Hey Brat!" Antubmon screams out from inside the Digivice.

            "What's wrong?" Jacob asks curiously. "It sounds like your panicking."

            "Something's kind of odd kid." Antubmon pulls up a holographic map of the city with the group looking on curiously with several dots appearing on it. "Look I'm picking up three other Digivices here."

            "How is that possible?" Marin asks confused.

            "It seems like six unused Digivices with Digieggs inside were blasted away when Millenniummon's explosion happened and then they wound up in the worlds like us." Bytemon says seriously. "But I can't seem to pinpoint their locations because of some odd interference created by something."

            "Well I'm guessing it has something to do with the person working with Millenniummon." Jacob says thinking about things. "So that means we have find the others and then we can increase our forces."

            "Yeah, that'll make things a lot easier." Marin says happily.

As the duo stand around a loud knocking is heard at the door of the garage.

            "Open up, your under arrest for dealings with Digimon."
